Orange Cornmeal Cake
Orange Cornmeal Cake is indeed great and you can’t let it pass you by without trying it out. Below are some of the ingredients you may need to have this dessert ready on your dining table; olive oil, sugar, orange juice, flour, yellow cornmeal, baking powder and a fresh zest orange.
Next preheat your oven to at least 375°F. Gently brush the bottom sides of your large cake pan with oil or butter; place a wax paper at the button of your cake pan and grease the its top with oil.
Place and mix the ingredients (eggs, oil, a cup of a sugar and the orange juice) altogether in a large bowl and keep stirring the mixture until they blend and combine together.
Now put the batter into the prepared cake pan and sprinkle another little sugar on top. Now bake the cake mixture for another 30 minutes until it begins to pull together to itself or when a dried inserted toothpick comes out clean.
You may now turn off the oven and allow the cake to sit in there until it cools down, say 20 or 30 minutes. Separate the cake from the pan by cutting through the edges of the pan with a knife or any sharp object then remove the wax paper. Store the cake into a refrigerator to further cool until serving.
You have just prepared a tasty and delicious that will leave you begging for more. The Orange Cornmeal Cake can be served with any chilled drink or even coffee at any time of the day.
